The site is located at the intersection of Muhammer Yasar Bostanci Street and Bahriye Ucok Street. Proposed Music School is located in a triangular site area; therefore, the design embraces the corner with its form and function. This conceptual idea strengthen the idea of publicness. Also, it is elevated from the ground level to create spatial definition and enable permeability under the building.

By using a math surface, called helicoid, the spaces are separated from each other. That is, two integrated surfaces of helicoid form provide private and public functions separated, and also a central vertical circulation which creates diversity and visual communication in the interior. The central stair functions as social space for the students.
